The last post. Wow, this blog sure has changed from what it was when I created it for fun a few years ago.

Today I forgot to replenish the money in my wallet, so I was left with a measly $2note. For recess, as we had just gone for our 800m run and was feeling exhausted and dehydrated, I bought a drink which cost $1! That means I only have $1 left in a wallet. That was still ok, but the problem was that I had to stay back in school today, which meant I had to eat lunch in school! What can I buy for $1 which can last me till dinner? Well, I managed to buy some rice with mutton to temporarily suppress my hunger till I got home.

Today's HOMEC make-up was particularly interesting, as we were having the make-up with 2A. Two of the 2A students were making a fool out of themselves, which resulted in Miss Hashimah sending them out as a punishment. The moment Miss Hashimah asked them to come back into the class, they were at it again, so Miss Hashimah had to separate them, so they could not talk to each other and can continue with their work. After that, Sing Chien, who also came for the make-up class, accidentally poked Miss Hashimah with a needle, which made one of the 2A students to start 'blaming' Sing Chien by making up all kinds of jokes.

And with that, the last post has been completed, thus I would not have any more reason to continue this blog. Hopefully this blog will not fall to the point of self-collapse!

Wednesday, 27 January 2010

Finally, a day when I don't have to stay back in school and can go home early! Monday I had to go for the N.E Gaming training, and Tuesday I had to go for HOMEC make-up class.

Class today was as usual, although today's science lesson was quite amusing. Mr Gabriel, our biology teacher, accidently brought the wrong notes, some Sec 4 notes none of us could understand, and had to go back to the staff room to get the right notes so that we could continue the lesson. Chaos broke out in the class as Mr Gabriel walked out of the class, but, almost like by magic, the whole class settled down the moment we saw Mr Chia walking on the opposite side of the building, headed towards our class.

Also, we had an OPW session in the computer lab. My group was having trouble writing out our ideas as we still had to tight up some loose ends and finalize our ideas. AS a result, we could not finish the draft which we had to hand up in time and had to bring it home to do.

When I got home, I had to finish up my remaining homework, both tuition and school. After that, I begun to work on the OPW draft. Tomorrow there is PE lesson, and after school I have dragonboat training. I hope tomorrows's PE lesson would not be strenous or my muscles may not be able to take so much physical training at once!

First day of the week. Another day at school, learning new concepts and having some fun with friends in the process. School today was pretty much the same as last Monday, including the part where we leave class early for the N.E Gaming training! We left during HOMEC class, which made Ms Hashimah, our HOMEC teacher, annoyed that we had skipped her class for two weeks in a row. As result, we have to go for make-up classes again. Great, just when I have tons of tuition homework to do...

Today's N.E Gaming training was cut short as the time usage for the computer had ran out, so we could not continue and were released early. Most of us were slightly disappointed as we were looking forward to playing. Despite that, today's training was much more enjoyable than last week, since we finally got to play against one another!

When I got home, I threw my bag onto my bed and hit the showers immediately. After a warm shower, I dove into my tuition homework, spending most of the day at home doing homework. Luckily, I managed to finish my homework before dinner and had some time out after dinner.

The funny thing was that after a while, I suddenly remembered that there was a maths test tomorrow and I had not revised for it yet. I literally jumped at that moment and pulled out my maths notes from my neatly packed school bag to revise. When I finished, it was already quite late and I still have to write this blog post. I hope I can wake up tomorrow...

The weekends have finally arrived! Time to sit back and unwind for a while, at the same time looking back at all the notes from school and preparing for the following school week. On Saturday mornings, me and my parents would go to the East Coast Park for a leisurely jog to keep ourselves in shape, today not being an exception. After the jog, we went to MacDonalds for our breakfast, before heading home to prepare for the big party!

I have maths tuition on Saturday afternoons at 2pm, so I was a bit disappointed when I had to go for tuition as I would be missing a part of the party. When my tuition ended at 4pm, I immediately rushed home, eager to join in the fun and celebration! When I got home, all my other cousins and family had already arrived. Everyone was enjoying themselves to the finger food my cousin had bought.

At 5pm, everyone went downstairs for the barbeque. The adults started the fire, while the children, or should I say teenagers, 'played' around the swimming pool, chatting amongst themselves, me included. What was really funny was that one of my cousins, fully dressed nicely for the party, tripped and fell into the pool! He was completely drenched and had to go upstairs to change into one of my spare clothes!

When the fire was burning fiercely and strongly, it was time to start the barbeque. I had a good time cooking some satays to eat. Although the first few came out a bit on the burnt side, the others were quite weel done if I have to say myself! The party turned out a great success, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. I wish I could have such a fun party for my birthday!

The last school day of the week. Another week gone, bringing the exams closer and closer. Classes were as usual today, although history class was especially amusing. Mr Thiru, the history teacher, punished Wei Jie for making a fool out of himself in class by making him squat at the front of the class. Gavin, who would usually be the one punished in class as he had a bad habit of talking back at the teacher, said 'lucky, this time not me' in Chinese. As Me Thiru could not understand Chinese, he punished Gavin along with Wei Jie! The class laughed at how unlucky Gavin was!

CCA training today was as tiring as usual, though surprisingly, I kind of enjoyed it as today was the first day the Sec 1s came for training! At long last, our batch was no longer the 'worst'!

What's more, as Mr David Lee, our teacher-in-charge, wanted to speak to our seniors, we were dismissed at 5.00pm! How happy everyone was to be dismissed early as the physical training that day was exceptionally strenuous. I and a couple of my friends would always stay in school after training for a while to play basketball. Since we were dismissed early, we could play to our heart's content without worrying about how late it was!

When I got home, I had to unpack my NCC uniform. It was quite a tiring process as there were many parts of the uniform that could not be washed and had to be taken off, but I managed to pull through in the end.

Tomorrow is the start of the weekends, and just so happens to be the birthday of one of my cousins! I hope she has some good food for the party tomorrow!

End of first week of school

It's finally the end of the first day of school. What a hectic week it was! New teachers, same old subjects, only much, much tougher this time. I have to admit I struggled to cope up with all the new concepts of each subject at first, but everything worked out in th end!

A Brand New Start!

A blog assignment...first of a kind I'll say, but at least it gave me a reason to start blogging again...
